CLIENT SUCCESS STORY

A blend of professional insights and lighthearted fun is proving to be a winning formula; and the numbers back it up.

For the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC), LinkedIn has long been a home for polished graphics and professional updates. But in early 2026, BEPC made a bold move: launching a member video series that trades static posts for real conversations and candid stories, plus, the occasional cringe-worthy fashion confession.

The results have been nothing short of remarkable.

From Static to Dynamic: The Birth of a Video Series

BEPC partnered with its management team at Barcami Lane, Inc. to develop a fresh approach that would better showcase the human side of their membership. The concept: interview-style videos featuring BEPC members answering a curated mix of questions. Some prompts dig into the professional; how BEPC has shaped their growth, the value of the network, lessons learned in estate planning. Others go delightfully off-script, like asking members to confess their most regrettable fashion choices.

The series kicked off at the 60th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning; one of the most prestigious gatherings in estate planning; giving the debut videos an ideal backdrop of expertise and community. Central to bringing the series to life was Brandon Fink, BEPC Board Director and Marketing & Communications Committee Board Liaison, who conducted the on-site interviews at the conference. Through this partnership, we were able to deliver polished, engaging videos that resonated with the BEPC LinkedIn audience from the very first post.

1,850+

The Results: A Viral-Worthy Debut

To understand just how significant these results are, consider the baseline: over the past year, BEPC’s LinkedIn company page posts averaged 409 impressions and 47 clicks per post. Solid numbers for a niche professional association; but the video series shattered them.

The first video in the series; captured live at the January 2026 conference; saw impressions soar 491% above the yearly average. The second video followed close behind, coming in at nearly double the average impressions. Together, the two posts racked up over 1,850 views, a 239% increase over the average video views on the page over the past year.

The engagement didn’t stop at views. Interactions and comments on the video posts outpaced what static graphics had been generating, a clear signal that BEPC’s audience was not just seeing the content but responding to it.

Why It Works

Video content naturally outperforms static imagery on LinkedIn, but format alone doesn’t explain these numbers. The BEPC series works because it pairs the right medium with the right message.

By featuring real members answering questions that range from genuinely insightful to playfully personal, the videos do something static content rarely can: they make viewers feel something. A member laughing about their 1990s wardrobe is memorable. A candid reflection on professional growth is shareable. Together, they create a series that’s both authentic and engaging, exactly what today’s LinkedIn audience rewards.

What’s Next for BEPC

With a strong debut in the books, BEPC has the momentum and the data to continue building out the series. Each new video is an opportunity to deepen member connections, grow the page’s reach, and solidify BEPC’s reputation as an organization that values both expertise and community.

It’s a great reminder that in professional content, a little personality goes a long way.
