From the President: A Season of Change and Progress

As the vibrant hues of autumn settle in, we’re reminded that fall is a season of transformation—a time when nature gracefully lets go to make room for renewal. At Barcami Lane, Inc., this spirit of change is reflected in several exciting developments that mark a new chapter in our journey.

Leadership Growth

I’m thrilled to announce that Michaela Sawicki, MSc., CAE, will be stepping into the role of director of association management, effective October 26, 2025. Michaela’s journey with Barcami Lane has been one of remarkable growth and unwavering dedication. As an association executive, she has consistently refined client operations, led strategic initiatives, and developed impactful programs—all while navigating complex interpersonal dynamics with grace and professionalism. Her insight, reliability, and collaborative spirit have earned the trust of colleagues and clients alike, and we’re excited to see her thrive in this new role on the management team where she'll oversee staff.

A New Home Base

We’re also on the move, literally! Barcami Lane is relocating to a new office at 85 Swanson Road, Suite 135, Boxborough, Massachusetts. While the move isn't far, this new space allows us to consolidate storage, streamline operations, and offer meeting room space for client use. We’ll be managing all address changes for our clients to ensure a smooth transition.

Professional Development in Action

Our team continues to grow and shine. Robbie Heacock, CAE, recently spoke on a panel with the AMC Institute, sharing insights into their professional development programs. Meanwhile, Emily Dodge earned her Qualified Association Specialist (QAS) certificate from the Florida Society for Association Executives, a testament to her commitment to excellence in association management.
